We have a fun night of racing and learning. Heat race was a bit rough for us both while we learned to shift and get the handling of our cars. I made some key adjustments and went out for the feature starting in 12th and dad started at the tail because he is a rookie. After a few accidents and caution laps I moved up a few places and finished 8th out of 17 cars. Dad was black flagged for being too slow, but it was a good lesson to learn the importance of maintaining the race pace. We are looking forward to next week. There is a practice session on Tuesday and we are taking just dad's car for him to get some extra laps and time on the track. Hope to see you soon.
