WE ARE MOVING!!

Hey people

You may have noticed that the site has not been getting updated as much as normal. There is a reason (apart from malsta being slack).

The SBS website is moving. The new site is up and running at:

This site will stay around until everything is moved over, however most of the news updates etc. will now be over on the new site.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to all the people who have helped on this site and who have made it work through the last few months. That includes everyone who visited or sent me stuff to add, as well as those who helped maintain it.

Guys for all of you are hungry to find your rankings, but can't be arsed trawling through the pages, have a look at this - its pretty good.

If you compare it to the beta leaderboards they are both in the same ballpark so it seems to be relatively accurate.

Just An Idea -Clan Night 4?

Ok, I have had a thought.

Clan Night 4 - Valor Re - Union.

Here is how I see it going down. After several of us vetted to SVER for the double XP wkend it is time for us all to get back together again.

Some people are almost ready to vet back to valor anyway, some of us (myself included) are not (due to low scoring on the wkend lol!).

Those who are not quite at the stage to get back on their regular ac. can set up a valor ac. for the night/permanently (I've already done this - 2minute job).

I know this will mean that some of us will be back to level 1 (again!), but it will be a laugh with the majority of us levelling up together, getting mown down together, and being raped by SVER together just like in the old days! Plus those who stayed faithful to valor will get a chance to shine with their tricked out LMG's, a fair reward over us treacherous turncoats who vetted to SVER for a quick 10%....

I reckon if we give it 2 or 3 weeks before we pull this one off (no pun intended) it will give people a chance to finish levelling up or at least set up a second ac. and get a few skill points back on valor.

Let me know what you think guys, without your feedback it ain't gonna happen.

Bring back the old days, death or glory chaps (probably the former in my case but hey...)! Valor for life!!

MAG Server Maintenance

This coming Monday, June 28th, a number of PlayStation servers will be down for maintenance for approximately two hours beginning at 1am PDT (4am EST). This scheduled maintenance will affect MAG as well as the official MAG blog.

Here’s when the maintenance should occur across a number of time zones:

Pacific: 1am – 3am
Mountain: 2am – 4am
Central: 3am – 5am
Eastern: 4am – 6am
Hawaii: 11pm (6/27) – 1am (6/28)
Alaska: 12am – 2am
GMT: 8am – 10am

Double XP Weekend!!

As is often the way for dlc launches its Double XP weekend starting this Friday starting 3.01am Eastern, 7.01am GMT.

This ties in nicely for clan night, and also for those of us vetting up on Saturday.

Clan Night 3 - Interdiction Night

Ok, to celebrate the first real piece of DLC and new game mode/maps it seems only fitting to have an interdiction night.

The dates suggested are the 25 or 26/06/2010.

I know its short notice but I am pretty sure that we can fit it in there somehow!

A massive thanks to all those that made it on Friday - scores are now on the doors.

I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.
